Allow Nature to be a co-therapist in your healing and growth journey. By taking our session outdoors, we allow the healing properties of nature to assist in meeting your needs. The elements, plant and animal life enhance the process by offering symbolic meaning and intuitive messages to guide and heal. Meet me at the beach, park or the forest. Let the natural world welcome you and bring you what you need to see, feel or hear. Research is showing the positive benefits of nature in treating depression and anxiety.
Ecotherapy outdoor workshops allow you to meet with other nature lovers to experience the gifts of nature and gain insights and direction. Outdoor group activities are designed to give you an experience that only Nature can create. Practice mindfulness, learn about Native American symbols and see how to deeply connect with nature and yourself . I am inspired to create retreats in nature that inspire people to ‘break away’ from their daily lives and create ‘breakthroughs’ in consciousness as they connect more with their spiritual nature. These four day retreats are usually held in Florida, Tennessee, Colorado or California. I am inspired to lead retreats in sacred places all over the world.

Paula’s early years established a deep connection with nature. Playing in the forests and waterways of the Pacific Northwest, her natural surroundings offered genuine belonging, and its inhabitants became her true companions & teachers. After several years working in a major urban centre, she also discovered the preciousness of reconnecting with small-scale nature. Paula’s post-graduate studies have involved integrating art and play therapies with ecotherapy. To Paula, reconnecting with, learning from, and nurturing relations with nature are paramount to healing and wellness.

She also has an extensive background of study in many different spiritual traditions, which led her to become an interfaith minister.
Her new book, Awakening from Anxiety: A Spiritual Guide to Living a More Calm, Confident, and Courageous Life releases August 15th, 2019. It addresses the challenges that spiritual and highly sensitive people have with stress and anxiety in our current era.
If you're looking for a therapist that integrates body, mind, heart, spirit, and the Earth, we may be a good fit. I see the Divine manifest in nature and it is always speaking to us through every leaf, feather, and drop of rain. I also work with energy awareness, which nature facilitates very readily. I work mainly with individual adults as well as groups outdoors, but also have worked with parent and child.
