Welcome to the International List of The Earthbody Institute Graduates!
Each graduate has a variety of professional skills, licenses, and/or trainings in addition to The Earthbody Institute training. We encourage you to contact them to work with them or to network.
I integrate innovations such as non-violence, mindfulness, and bodymind holism with my training in expressive arts, authentic movement, ecotherapy, and Hakomi Experiential Psychotherapy to work creatively and collaboratively with adults, adolescents, couples, romantic partners and families.
We'll explore how you perceive and experience the world using a variety of approaches (role-playing, nature, imagery, dance) to bring awareness and give you increased choice as you navigate new experiences. Contact me today to discuss what you would like to explore, experience or achieve in therapy.

Paula’s early years established a deep connection with nature. Playing in the forests and waterways of the Pacific Northwest, her natural surroundings offered genuine belonging, and its inhabitants became her true companions & teachers. After several years working in a major urban centre, she also discovered the preciousness of reconnecting with small-scale nature. Paula’s post-graduate studies have involved integrating art and play therapies with ecotherapy. To Paula, reconnecting with, learning from, and nurturing relations with nature are paramount to healing and wellness.
Paula is a private practitioner who works with children, youth, and adults. Her trauma-informed stance is rooted in an active and flexible therapeutic alliance that highlights personal strengths and natural wisdom. With her canine co-therapist, Paula offers a warm, flexible, creative, and playful stance. Paula works from her Studio, out in the community, and in the natural areas of Vancouver, BC.

Licensed since 1999, Rev. Connie works with individuals, couples, and leads a women's spiritual psychotherapy group. She has 25 years of experience teaching yoga, with a passion for yoga philosophy, meditation, awareness in the present moment, and of course, the sacred outdoors. She also has an extensive background of study in many different spiritual traditions, which led her to become an interfaith minister.
Her new book, Awakening from Anxiety: A Spiritual Guide to Living a More Calm, Confident, and Courageous Life releases August 15th, 2019. It addresses the challenges that spiritual and highly sensitive people have with stress and anxiety in our current era.
If you're looking for a therapist that integrates body, mind, heart, spirit, and the Earth, we may be a good fit. I see the Divine manifest in nature and it is always speaking to us through every leaf, feather, and drop of rain. I also work with energy awareness, which nature facilitates very readily. I work mainly with individual adults as well as groups outdoors, but also have worked with parent and child.

"I know what it is like to abandon oneself. And I also know what it looks like to listen to your authentic inner voice and deepest longings to create the life you desire. If you are wanting to feel a sense of deeper belonging to yourself, your calling, and to wild nature, let's talk. When I listen, I listen with all my ears—opening my pores up to absorb the information I am receiving, not just from words, but the body, symbols, and energies. My intention is to listen deeply with my mind, heart, soul, & body to honor the psyche's journey towards wholeness. Contact me for a FREE 30 minute discovery call to see if it is a good fit."

My academic background includes a doctorate in counseling and educational psychology, a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling, and a bachelor's degree in psychology and holistic health. In addition to my ecotherapy training through Earthbody, I am an active ecotherapy researcher with publications in various academic journals and counseling related magazines. I incorporate yoga, meditation, and breathwork into my counseling practice and am a certified yoga instructor (RYT-200). My counseling approach is primarily existential and spiritual; I have master's level training in religion and spirituality in counseling, and also studied meditation, philosophy, and acupuncture with the Holistic Health department of Georgian Court University at the Dongzhimen Hospital, Beijing, the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and with private practitioners in Xi’an, China.
I am a doctoral-level therapist focused on helping millennials explore their identities and relationships, navigate life transitions, and support their personal growth and empowerment. I primarily work with women & non-binary people, and those in the queer/trans/poly/kink communities. Together, we will get to the root of your issues so you can learn from that insight and develop the tools you need to make lasting changes. Most of my clients come to me because they are questioning the meaning of their relationships, career, life, and/or existence - but I am here to help you discover your truth so you can live freely & authentically. I offer individual psychotherapy, partners therapy, and ecotherapy both online and in person.
