Bio
No matter where you are in your journey, I am here to support you with embodying wellness in all areas of your life. Together we can explore what it means to be who you are, reconnect with your body, commune with nature, learn new patterns of thinking, find your voice, and heal. My warm and grounded presence provides a safe space for you to explore how beautiful and amazing, but often times wounded relationship to our physical selves can impact our relationships, creativity, general wellbeing, and even our ability to reason and learn.
I integrate innovations such as non-violence, mindfulness, and bodymind holism with my training in expressive arts, authentic movement, ecotherapy, and Hakomi Experiential Psychotherapy to work creatively and collaboratively with adults, adolescents, couples, romantic partners and families.
We'll explore how you perceive and experience the world using a variety of approaches (role-playing, nature, imagery, dance) to bring awareness and give you increased choice as you navigate new experiences. Natasha supports the diverse communities of the East Bay by providing relational psychotherapy to teens, adults and families. She also provides Clinical Supervision to therapists working in schools and non-profits in the area. While an experienced therapist, Natasha has recently started incorporating ecotherapy into her sessions and is very excited to finally be sharing her life-long love of the natural world with her clients. Natasha believes that detachment from the other-than-human-world is contributing to suffering and that connecting with nature can support mental health and emotional growth. Natasha weaves several modalities into her work which include Hakomi (somatic and mindfulness based), Narrative, Mindfulness-based CBT and Ecotherapy. She is client-centered and therefore works with clients at their own pace and helps people to recognize their inner strengths and discover more self-compassion.

Nature & Adventure Guide, Yoga teacher, Ecowellness practitioner, Anthropology and Psychology student, Pilgrim.
Bio
I am a Nature & adventure guide, organising trips to the Wild in different parts of the World (Nepal, Mongolia, India, …). I spend over 100 days in Nature in a year. I study Veda and Ayurveda and I teach yoga. I lived with a few primal people (Gurungs, Khasi, Mishmis, Xalx, Hazabe,…) and I learnt about primitive techniques and medicinal plants. The Gurungs gave me the nickname “Ban Manche” which means “Forest-Man” (or “human friend of the Forest Spirit””). My anthropology thesis was about holy springs in a shamanic/Buddhist tradition.
I received Level One Ecotherapy Certificate from the EarthBody Institute in 2020.

When I listen, I listen with all my ears—opening my pores up to absorb the information I am receiving, not just from words, but the body, symbols, and energies. Licensed Professional Counselor
Bio
I'm Sage and I'm a remote professor and clinical mental health counselor in the Reno-Tahoe area. I'm originally from New Jersey, where I developed a love for being in nature, especially at the beach. I fell in love with the Tahoe area when I moved here for graduate school and am proud to now call it home. I've always been passionate about social justice and helping others, and I found my way to counseling through overcoming my own adversities. I work with clients to achieve wellness in mind, body & spirit.

My academic background includes a doctorate in counseling and educational psychology, a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling, and a bachelor's degree in psychology and holistic health. In addition to my ecotherapy training through Earthbody, I am an active ecotherapy researcher with publications in various academic journals and counseling related magazines. I incorporate yoga, meditation, and breathwork into my counseling practice and am a certified yoga instructor (RYT-200). My counseling approach is primarily existential and spiritual; I have master's level training in religion and spirituality in counseling, and also studied meditation, philosophy, and acupuncture with the Holistic Health department of Georgian Court University at the Dongzhimen Hospital, Beijing, the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and with private practitioners in Xi’an, China.
Services Summary

I am a doctoral-level therapist focused on helping millennials explore their identities and relationships, navigate life transitions, and support their personal growth and empowerment. I primarily work with women & non-binary people, and those in the queer/trans/poly/kink communities. Together, we will get to the root of your issues so you can learn from that insight and develop the tools you need to make lasting changes. Most of my clients come to me because they are questioning the meaning of their relationships, career, life, and/or existence - but I am here to help you discover your truth so you can live freely & authentically. I offer individual psychotherapy, partners therapy, and ecotherapy both online and in person.
