Shikha Patel (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Trauma Therapist, Ecotherapist and is the founder of Collaborative InSights. Shikha specializes in working with adults who are seeking trauma recovery, somatic healing, and connection to nature through Ecotherapy. She is trained in EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Ecotherapy.
Shikha’s passion for bridging trauma recovery, culture, and nature are present in her therapeutic practice. Her identity is rooted in being a South Asian woman and she offers a nonjudgmental space for those who seek safety in processing cultural challenges. She advocates for the decolonization of mental health and returning healing practices to people and the land. Shikha integrates the understanding of neuropsychology, trauma, and tapping into ancestral knowledge of healing.
