Bio
Julie has been in the mental health field for over 30 years and has been studying the field of ecotherapy since 2013. She has completed Nature Connection online courses with Michael J. Cohen on the regenerative power of learning with nature. She is a graduate of the Earth Body Institutes Clinical Ecotherapy program (2016) and Kripalu's newest school of Yoga; Mindful Outdoor Leadership (2018). Julie is dedicated to helping students & clients access their innate wisdom & creative energies for growth & healing. She incorporates nature in her work whenever possible due to the numerous health benefits and to reconnect humans to the living earth. When not in the office you can find Julie in her garden or on a trail somewhere maintaining her own deep connection and love for the more than human world.

Julie has been apprenticing with don Oscar Miro-Quesada and Cynthia Greer as a Pachakuti (world reversal) Mesa Carrier since 2015 to deepen her training as a healer and facilitator of ‘soul restorative living on Earth’. Shamans believe many of our ailments occur when we are out of alignment. Shamanic skills are designed to restore harmony & wholeness simply by way of being a conduit for healing energy. Julie’s desire is to restore balance to individuals, communities and the planet.
Services Summary

Services include individual and couples therapy, public and private yoga, mindful yoga hikes in both urban and rural areas, nature retreats and yoga workshops.Therapy methods are designed to assist the process of accessing one’s own innate wisdom and creative energies for optimal living. Nature based offerings are designed to reconnect participants with themselves as well as the natural world.
