Julia Sanchez is a herbalist and social worker focused on reconnecting people to the healing power of nature in the Sunshine State, Florida.
With a foundation of over ten years of professional experience as a program administrator with nonprofit organizations such as Girl Scouts and the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, Julia serves as the State Public Health Specialist for the University of Florida's Institute of Food & Agricultural Sciences.
Julia holds a bachelor of arts degree in cultural anthropology from New College of Florida and in the process of earning a master of social work degree from Florida State University. She also holds certifications in herbalism, nonprofit management, yoga instruction (body positive and trauma-informed), flower essences and permaculture.
Julia is based in Gainesville, where she is guided by old live oaks and sweet water springs.
