Bio
Bio I am a Scottish Eco Art therapist and a professional storyteller, based in Spain.
My therapeutic approach is client based and integrates Gestalt therapy, humanistic art therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Narrative therapy, psychodrama, mindfulness, ecotherapy and rituals connected with the lunar cycles and Celtic wheel of the year.
I facilitate workshops around The Work That Reconnects and Active Hope. I also offer a course called Dancing with Death, where we use stories, creativity and rituals to talk about death. I have a degree in Biology and am an Earthteller and advocate for the Earth Stories collection
My creativity is inspired by ancient times when we would sit around the fire and tell stories to connect with ourselves, with each other and the natural world. I strongly believe the ancestral wisdom of stories can help us with environmental and social issues in these times of uncertainty.
Level 1 certificate in ecotherapy from the EarthBody Institute in 2022
I work in English and in Spanish and offer both online and in person sessions.
