McClain Owens
I am a trauma therapist that pulls from eastern and western modalities to offer holistic therapeutic services.
Believing that trauma memory is stored beyond the mind and deep into the body, I weave cognitive, somatic and nature-based approaches for highly effective treatment. Furthermore, it is vital to understand how systemic, cultural and individual circumstances influence the mind-body connection. To better grasp what is bringing you into session, my anti-oppressive perspective is influenced by systems, and feminist theory.
Laura O'Brien, MS, LCSW-R

Alongside clinical practice, I’ve supervised both social work staff and interns, always grounded in a commitment to ethical and client-centered care.

I grew up as a third culture kid in France, Sweden, and occupied Turtle Island (the US). All of those lands, waterways, and cultures have helped to shape who I am and how I relate to others. Since 2018, I have provided outpatient therapy full-time in a variety of settings. I value therapy that supports your connection with yourself and with the world we are a part of. I'm also a poet and enjoy gardening, visiting bodies of water, reading, and spending time with my cats.
