Through my many experiences both personally and professionally, I have seen people in many life transitions and have experienced the joys and sorrow that come with each of those. I would be deeply honored to meet you where you are at in your life and help you grow to where you want to be.
I offer individual counseling to folks in both the office, outside in local parks, and via telehealth. I work with a variety of individuals, with a particular focus on those who are highly sensitive and in the LGBTQIA+ community. What does a highly sensitive person look like? Is that you? If you often feel or hear that you’re “too sensitive,” find it hard to take criticism, feel overwhelmed by daily tasks that you think should be simple, are easily overstimulated by the world, or you find yourself wanting to be heard but you’re too scared to take up space, this might be a trait that will resonate with you.
I use a holistic approach that incorporates mindfulness and body-based work. Together we can strengthen and develop your relationship with yourself, so that the chaos of the world doesn’t feel so heavy. Together we can challenge the notion that you have to be perfect and we’ll find ways to empower you to be confident and to take up the space you deserve.

Healing is not meant to be done alone. Each of us will face loss, anxiety, uncertainty, disruption, disconnection, illness… these are natural to the human condition. In encountering these inherent challenges, we need to be witnessed, held, and heard, as we take the risk to journey through our dark night. If you embark on this journey with me as your companion, we will tap into the wells of knowledge, tools, and wisdom that reside within (and around) us both, as collaborators in your healing. The Earth and I will help you to re-member your innate value and wisdom as a human BEing, and as part of the larger ecosystem to which we all belong.
Blending a warm, person-centered, affirming, and gently challenging approach, I will tailor our sessions to fit your needs. We may engage in mindfulness practices to root you back in the present moment and the mind-body connection, explore attachment relationships as they relate to current patterns, or help to strengthen a reciprocal relationship with nature through in-office and outdoor Earth-honoring practices.
These dialogues and practices have the potential to awaken more vitality, joy, calm, self-worth, dignity, along with a sense of compassion and belonging with self, others, and the larger world.

If you're looking for a therapist that integrates body, mind, heart, spirit, and the Earth, we may be a good fit. I see the Divine manifest in nature and it is always speaking to us through every leaf, feather, and drop of rain. I also work with energy awareness, which nature facilitates very readily. I work mainly with individual adults as well as groups outdoors, but also have worked with parent and child.
